Why Tucumcari?

Nestled off Route 66 at the intersection of I-40 and I-54, Tucumcari sees over 20,000 vehicles daily.

Tucumcari’s rich history began as a bustling railroad town in the early 1900s, later flourishing with the advent of Route 66. Though it faced decline after the I-40 bypass was built in the 1980s, Tucumcari is now poised for a vibrant renaissance. With historic buildings, neon-lit boulevards, and charming small-town vibes, it’s set to become the next great art town, enchanting open-minded travelers and cultural explorers alike.
